ATLANTIC Anchor line spool with breaking load 4000 kg

Application: On ships of approx. 3 - 7 t

Very high-quality anchor line reel/spool made of stainless steel "Made in Finland" with either 25 m, 45 m or 65 m flat anchor/mooring line (Line width 35 mm, material thickness reel 6 mm) and friction brake.

Suitable for mounting on horizontal or vertical railing tubes with diameter 22 - 30 mm. There are certainly very different views/experiences on the subject of "length of anchor line/anchor chain" - but in general it can be said that an anchor line should be at least 3 - 4 times the length of the water depth - therefore this anchor belt reel in the version with 45 m of flat line is sufficient for a water depth of up to 12 m. The line has a breaking load of 4 t and according to the manufacturer's specifications is sufficient for ships of approx. 3 - 7 t - this specification is only for your orientation and does not relieve the skipper from carefully weighing up the individual circumstances.

Application:

The line is equipped with a reinforced belt loop - the anchor is attached to this loop either directly or with a chain leader and with the help of a shackle. Now lay out enough anchor line and cover the end on board on a cleat.
