Deck frames for boats with pulpit and pushpit
NOA Deck Frames have been specially developed for sailing boats with a pulpit and pushpit. These existing attachment points provide a particularly stable yet lightweight structure for securely supporting a winter cover. Rain, snow and dirt can run off effectively, while good ventilation is maintained beneath the cover.
The design principle is simple and well thought out. One telescopic railing support is attached to the pulpit and another to the pushpit. They secure the frame to the boat and form the two fixed points for the ridge tube.
Between these two points, telescopic deck supports provide additional support for the ridge tube. They are positioned on stable areas such as the coachroof, cockpit floor or coaming and distribute the loads from the winter cover evenly across the boat. This creates a stable yet lightweight frame that can be adapted to different boat sizes and deck layouts.
All components are made from seawater-resistant aluminium and high-quality fittings and are designed for many years of use in a marine environment. Thanks to the modular design, additional deck supports, ridge tubes and other accessories can be added or replaced at any time. Existing NOA Deck Frames can also be extended to create a NOA Overhang Frame if required.
Three frame sizes for different boat lengths
NOA offers the Deck Frames in three sizes:
- Deck Frame 8–10 m – for boats from approx. 7 to 9.5 m
- Deck Frame 11–13 m – for boats from approx. 10 to 12.5 m
- Deck Frame 14–16 m – for larger boats up to approx. 16 m
The boat lengths stated above are intended as a guide. The most suitable version for your boat also depends on the deck layout, boom height, railing configuration and how you want the winter cover to be positioned.
When a standard configuration is not enough
Not every sailing boat matches a standard configuration. Sprayhoods, solar panels, equipment carriers or individual deck structures often require the frame to be adapted.
As a long-standing NOA partner, we can help you select the right components and, where necessary, develop an individual solution based on the NOA system and our own OUTMAR components. The result is a winter cover frame tailored to your boat, your winter cover and your specific requirements.
Simply send us photos, measurements or a short description of your boat – we will be happy to help you find the right solution.
