Mickey Sun Sail System Boat

The Mickey system by Osculati is a modular sun sail system for boats – flexible, stable and without a traditional bimini frame. It combines fixed mounting bases (e.g. on rails or deck) with flexible carbon-coated fiberglass poles that create a self-tensioning structure. This allows you to quickly set up stable shade exactly where you need it.

Compared to classic biminis, the system is more flexible, while offering a tighter and more stable setup than simple rope-based sun sails.

What do you need for the system?

To set up your sun protection, you’ll need the following components:

1. Mounts (rail mount or flush mount socket Mickey)
Installed on the rail or deck
→ Hold the poles in place

2. Poles (fiberglass / carbon-coated)
Inserted into the mounts
→ Provide shape and tension

3. Sun sail (custom)
Attached to the poles
→ Must be custom-made or adapted

4. Fixing (fixing buckle Mickey)
Attached to the sun sail
→ Connects the sail to the poles

Important note

A matching sun sail is currently not available as a standard product and is not included.

The sail must be custom-made or self-produced.

Your advantage:
You can fully customize size, shape and material to fit your boat perfectly.

How it works:

  1. Install mounting bases
  2. Insert poles
  3. Attach sun sail
  4. → system tensions itself

Your benefits:

  • No rigid bimini frame
  • Self-tensioning system
  • Flexible setup
  • Quick to install and remove
  • Compact storage

In short:
More flexible than a bimini, more stable than a loose sun sail.
