Telescopic A-Frame Supports for Deck Frames
Telescopic A-frame supports consist of two adjustable legs connected by a cross brace. At the top, the A-frame support is connected to the ridge tube using a T-connector. The telescopic legs allow the height to be adjusted to suit the boat and the required position of the ridge tube.
A-frame supports are typically positioned on the ground in front of the bow and behind the stern. Depending on the frame configuration, they can also be used in other suitable positions, for example on a sufficiently strong bathing platform.
They are particularly suitable for boats without a suitable pulpit, pushpit or rail for attaching a rail support. This makes it possible to build a deck frame on motorboats, open boats and other types of boats where conventional attachment points are not available.
Telescopic A-frame supports are used with NOA A-Frames as well as OUTMAR Deck Frames. They can be used when building a new deck frame or when extending or adapting an existing frame configuration.
When positioned on the ground, the A-frame support should stand on a firm and preferably level surface and be secured against slipping or unintended movement.
