Moisture inside a boat is often caused by temperature differences between the outside and the interior. Metal frames conduct heat and cold – when cold surfaces meet warm cabin air, condensation quickly forms.

A suitable insulation can effectively reduce this. To use the insulation, you will need a compatible mosquito net or blackout solution from our range, as their stable frame securely holds the insulation in place. The insulation is simply installed between the opening and the mosquito net or blackout.

The silver material reflects sunlight and heat very efficiently, helping to significantly reduce temperatures inside the boat on hot days.

In colder conditions, the insulation also helps retain warmth inside the cabin, reducing heat loss and improving onboard comfort.

Depending on the application, the insulation can be oriented in different ways: to reduce heat from outside, the reflective side should face outward. To retain warmth inside the boat, the insulation should face inward.
