SUNWARE TX-Rail Solar panel

The TX-Rail solar panels are based on the SunWare TX panels, which can be mounted directly on the bimini or sprayhood - but have been enhanced with two ingenious functions:

• they can be hooked onto a railing wire - there is almost always too little space on the fixed railing or pushpit to also mount a solar panel. Of course, the pushpit can be extended with a fixed railing - but it is easier and sufficient for many applications to use the railing wire and simply attach the solar panel to it.
• They can be set upright - that's the really brilliant thing! Previously, only framed modules mounted on a fixed railing could be optimized in their alignment angle - with the so-called “TX-RISER”, this is now also possible for panels that are hung on a railing wire. Please note: the alignment function is intended for anchoring or in the harbor, for example.

We offer three modules. With a rated power of

• 60 W single-wing
• 90 W double-wing
• 120 W double-wing

Installation:

The single-wing 60 W module SW-12052 is attached to the upper wire rope at the eyelets using the screw hooks supplied. Two TX risers mono are included with the module for the opening function. The TX risers are fixed to the back of the modules with LOXX elements on the textile edge. The panel can also be used as a mobile panel with the TX risers fitted - i.e. simply place it on deck or use it for camping or in a motorhome, for example. For this purpose, the TX riser can be fixed to both sides of the textile edge with LOXX.

The double-leaf panels SW-22039 and SW-22052 with 90 or 120 watts are attached to the upper railing wire on D-rings using the carabiner hooks supplied. For all three models, the railing wire remains free in the upper area, e.g. for attaching fenders and for safety-related activities. 

Two TX risers twin are included with each panel. The TX risers are fixed to the rear of the modules with LOXX elements. The panel can also be folded up completely with the TX risers fitted. The TX risers only need to be removed if the panel is to be laid out flat.

If the panel is to be hung vertically on the railing, the two wings of the panels are joined together with two LOXXes at the lower edge of the fabric so that it cannot swing due to waves or wind.
If required, the panel can be extended using the TX rails. To do this, the LOXX are loosened at the lower textile edge and the inner wing of the panel is lifted until the TX riser falls onto the lower wire rope. The TX riser is fixed to the steel cable in the middle with the elastic band.

The panels are equipped with 3m 2x2.5mm². The cable is led to the upper railing rope, on the support to the deck. The panel also comes with 10m of 2x2.5qmm cable and a waterproof coupling/plug pair to reach a deck feedthrough.
