Open storage bags with large viewing windows for clear storage of equipment. The bags are often used below deck and connected by several sets of bags in a horizontal or vertical arrangement to form an easily accessible material store. The bags are bolted in a suitable position using the “Mushroom fixation system” ( supplied) or glued to GRP, e.g. with methacrylate adhesive or Sikaflex 290. The production of the bags is complex and optimized for long-term use at sea. The white bag is made of PVC-coated polyester fabric (as known from truck tarpaulins, only slightly thinner), the bottom of the bag is made of a PVC-coated net so that the halyards and sheets can dry and any water that has penetrated does not remain in the bag. The edge of the bag is reinforced with black polypropylene webbing.
