The versatile mounting system allows installation on the deck, a tube, or – particularly practical on sailing yachts – on a shroud or guardrail. This keeps the boat hook safely secured without taking up valuable storage space.
Mounting the boat hook on a shroud offers a practical advantage: it remains easily accessible from both the cockpit and the foredeck while being securely stowed. The boat hook can be removed with one hand, making it ideal for mooring, casting off or passing through locks.
The two mounting clips hold the boat hook securely in place. Depending on the installation location, the clips can be fitted using the supplied stainless steel screws or hose clamps. Rubber retaining straps provide additional security while still allowing quick access.
