With the original HOOK & MOOR mounting clips, your boat hook can be stored securely while remaining ready for immediate use. The mounting system allows installation on deck, on a tube or on a wire, such as a shroud or guardrail wire. This keeps the boat hook safely in place without taking up valuable storage space.
Mounting the boat hook on a shroud is particularly practical: positioned amidships, it can be reached quickly from both the foredeck and the cockpit. It is stored out of the way and can be removed with one hand – ideal when mooring, casting off or passing through locks.
The two mounting clips hold the boat hook securely in position. The supplied stainless steel screws are used for mounting on deck. The included hose clamps are suitable for mounting on tubes with a diameter of 25 to 40 mm. If the boat hook is to be attached to a wire, such as a shroud or guardrail wire, suitable cable ties are additionally required. These are not included.
Rubber straps provide additional security and prevent the boat hook from falling out accidentally.
