Cross Brace for Telescopic Supports | OUTMAR

The cross brace connects two opposing telescopic supports of a boat cover frame, providing additional stability to the structure. It is installed between the supports in their upper section, creating a stable connection between both sides of the frame.

When the ridge tube is subjected to loads from a tensioned boat cover, rain or snow, the angled telescopic supports can transfer part of these forces outwards. The cross brace connects the opposing supports and helps reduce this lateral spreading.

The additional bracing is particularly useful on wider boats, with longer telescopic supports or on boat cover frames exposed to higher loads. Depending on the length of the frame, several cross braces can be installed.

The cross brace consists of a 0.9 m long aluminium tube with an outside diameter of 30 mm. A single end fitting is fitted to each end of the tube. Two original NOA 30/35 mm mounts for A-connectors/cross braces are used to attach the cross brace to the 35 mm outer tubes of the opposing telescopic supports.

The cross brace comes complete with the components required for installation on NOA and OUTMAR telescopic rail supports and telescopic deck supports and can be easily integrated into the modular boat cover frame system.
