Description & Application
The surface preparation agent Primer 507 by UNITECK is designed to improve the adhesion of adhesives and sealants when installing solar panel mounts for motorhomes and roof cable entries. The compact 30 ml packaging allows for precise and controlled application, making it ideal for professionals working with mobile solar systems and recreational vehicle installations.
Performance & Technology
Primer 507 is formulated to be effective on a wide range of materials. It removes contaminants, grease residues and surface impurities that can negatively affect bonding quality. It significantly enhances the adhesion of adhesives on metals, plastics and painted surfaces, ensuring a strong and durable bond even under demanding outdoor conditions. Its use prior to bonding is strongly recommended to maximise the longevity of the installation.
Application & Compatibility
Primer 507 is applied directly to the surface to be bonded before adhesive application. It is recommended for surface preparation when installing UNIFIX C, UNIFIX 1.C and UNIFIX 1.CS mounting systems and is also compatible with the adhesive and sealant Sikaflex 522. Application should be carried out according to the detailed installation instructions included with each UNIFIX mounting set.
