We offer two Lazy Jack systems from Pfeiffer Marine:

  • Type 1 – for sailboats up to 9 m / 30 ft
  • Type 2 – for sailboats up to 12 m / 40 ft

The system is particularly easy to install while the mast is still unstepped.

Type 1 – for boats up to 9 m / 30 ft

  • 2 × Single blocks
  • 10 × Eye straps
  • 2 × Lines, 4 m each
  • 2 × Lines, 7 m each, each with a single block attached via RopeClamp
  • 2 × Lines, 18 m each, each with a single block attached via RopeClamp
  • 2 × Mast cleats
  • Mounting kit with all stainless steel screws required for installation

Type 2 – for boats up to 12 m / 40 ft

  • 2 × Single blocks
  • 12 × Eye straps
  • 2 × Lines, 4 m each
  • 2 × Lines, 7 m each, each with a single block attached via RopeClamp
  • 2 × Lines, 9 m each, each with a single block attached via RopeClamp
  • 2 × Lines, 20 m each, each with a single block attached via RopeClamp
  • 2 × Mast cleats
  • Mounting kit with all stainless steel screws required for installation

Installation Instructions

For installation, you will need:

  • Tape measure

  • Phillips screwdriver

  • Center punch

  • Hammer

  • Drill

  • Twist drill bits (preferably suitable for aluminium if the mast or boom is aluminium)

To prevent galvanic corrosion, we recommend using TIKAL TEF-GEL, which is also available in our shop.
