Getting back on board an inflatable boat or RIB from the water can be difficult: the large, rounded tube provides little grip, and most inflatable boats do not have a permanently installed boarding ladder. This ladder is placed over the tube and provides a safer and more comfortable way to get back on board.
The curved support frame is suitable for inflatable tubes with a diameter of up to 500 mm. The ladder is secured inboard to the rigid floor using the supplied mounting plates and straps. This prevents it from slipping outwards or lifting away from the tube while boarding.
If the boat does not have a rigid floor, check before installation whether the strap can be securely attached to a sufficiently strong grab handle or another suitable attachment point.
The folding and telescopic stainless steel boarding ladder has four steps and an extended length of approximately 900 mm. When not in use, it can be retracted and folded onto the tube. This keeps it ready for use without taking up unnecessary space inside the inflatable boat.
