NOA A-Frames for boats without pulpit and pushpit
NOA A-Frames have been specially developed for sailboats and motor boats without a bow pulpit, stern pulpit or surrounding guard rails that could be used to attach a conventional cover frame. Many of these boats also have no continuous side deck or coaming that could provide suitable support for conventional deck supports.
The telescopic A-frame supports are positioned on the ground in front of and behind the boat and carry the main load of the frame. This means that wind and snow loads are not transferred directly to the boat.
Additional telescopic deck supports rest on the side deck, cabin roof or cockpit and provide extra stability. At the same time, the frame keeps the cover well above the boat, allowing rainwater and snow to run off more easily while maintaining good ventilation underneath.
NOA A-Frames are a particularly practical solution for smaller boats and trailerable motor boats during winter storage and longer periods out of use.
