At some point, most owners face this problem - there is not enough space on deck to mount another antenna, solar modules or a wind generator. The obvious solution, the installation of an equipment carrier, is usually shied away from, as the high cost of a custom-made product and the associated costs are a deterrent. OUTMAR is pleased to announce that there is now a more cost-effective alternative that can be assembled from standard components with a little manual skill.
Called “Sail Archs”, the equipment carriers from the American manufacturer “Atlantic Towers” are designed for mounting on deck, on the transom, on the sides of the hull or on a combination of these. They are made of high-gloss anodized aluminium and are therefore very light. At approx. 60 kg, the finished construction weighs significantly less than an equipment carrier made of stainless steel tubes.
There are 2 optimized tool carrier shapes for the various rear shapes, narrow or equally wide:
Staggered support legs
Carrier legs in one line

The equipment carrier consists of two halves that are connected by an equipment bridge. The Sail Arch can be adapted to the required width of the ship using various bridge elements. This makes the system modular and highly adaptable. The modular design also makes transportation easier.
